User Management

User Management Page Overview

The User Management tab is where administrators control team access and permissions.

Data Parrot Essentials users can add users and adjust their permissions and notification settings.

Data Parrot Pro users can also personalize notification settings per user - for example, the email notifications can be filtered by Pipeline/Stage and Deal Owner. A summary of seats in use is also displayed.

Adding / Updating Users

To add a user, click the "Add User" button and choose the user from the dropdown. This is a list of HubSpot users - they must have already been added to HubSpot to be added to Data Parrot.

Very Important: Any User of Data Parrot can see all data from HubSpot. This is usually common in HubSpot - all users can see everything - but it is important to know that this is the case.

*Note: If they were just added to HubSpot, the users should show up in Data Parrot shortly after they’re added in Hubspot *

Configuration Options:

  • Is Admin: This is a toggle to make the user an administrator. Administrators can add additional Data Parrot users.
  • Notifications: Select whether the user should receive daily and/or weekly email notifications. Slack is available to choose but the integration is not yet available.
  • Pipeline & Stage Filters: Select the Pipeline/Stage filters for the Notifications.
  • Deal Owner Filters: Select the Deal Owner filters for the Notifications.

Both the Pipeline/Stage and Deal Owner filters will apply to the daily & weekly email notifications.

Note: If you add another user but are already at the limit of purchased users, the new user will be pro-rated on the next invoice in the billing cycle.
