News Feed
The Newsfeed (opens in a new tab) is the first thing you see when you log in to Data Parrot. It's your go-to source for staying up-to-date with all the latest activities and changes in your sales pipeline, giving you a pulse on what's happening.
It shows you summary metrics for the last 14 days including Total Pipeline, Active Deals and Engagements.
It also shows you a timeline organized by day of the following:
- Engagements
- Deal Property Changes
- Deal AI Changes
If there are multiple updates for the same day for a deal, they will be grouped together in the timeline.

Summary Metrics
The summary metrics are displayed at the top of the News Feed. They show you the total pipeline amount, the number of active deals and the number of engagements (meetings, calls and emails) for the last 14 days.

The Deal Newsfeed is a timeline of recent key updates for your deals. It shows you the following grouped by Day and Deal:
- Engagements (meetings, calls and emails)
- Key Deal Property Changes (Amount, Close Date, Pipeline, Deal Stage)
- Deal AI Changes

If there are multiple updates for the same day for a deal, they will be grouped together in the timeline.

View Deal Details
You can expand any of these to see more details about the related deal. Simply click anywhere on the row for the timeline event and it will expand to show you more detailed information about that deal.

Filtering the Newsfeed
You can filter the Summary Metrics and Newsfeed by Pipeline, Deal Stage, Deal Owner and Teams.
Click Filter:

How to Use the Deal Newsfeed Effectively
Start Your Day with a Quick Scan (opens in a new tab): Make it a habit to check the newsfeed first thing in the morning. It's a great way to get a pulse on what's happening in your pipeline.
Quickly Drill into the Details: Click on any of the timeline events to expand them and see more details about the related deal.
Set up Filter Presets: Create filters and save them as presets to quickly filter the newsfeed by different criteria such as Pipeline, Deal Stage, Deal Owner and Teams.
